Some of the health conditions which cause pain around ovary are endometriosis or displacement of uterus tissue to the ovaries or pelvic wall.

It might also be due to the presence of ovarian cysts or ovarian cancer or due to uterine fibroids (thick band of fibrous tissue or muscular tissue of the uterus) or due to PID or pelvic inflammatory disease (infective reproductive organs) and might be due to diseases transmitted by sexual intercourse.

If the pain is worse in or around the ovary or near the digestive system then, consuming antacids can help in relieving the pain.

High fat content foods, tomato products, greasy foods, alcohol, carbonated beverages and caffeine should be avoided.
